This is a proposal for Student Nurses of a University College of Nursing to request for the first time in its history to represent the student nurses at PrideFest Albuquerque.
This has never been done before and the students would like to incorporate heathcare as a safe space and possibly provide free blood pressure screenings for fest attendees under the supervision of a faculty advisor.
This gives students the chance to engage with the LGBTQIA+ community one on one and also for the LGBTQIA+ to establish a positive experience when it comes to healthcare providers ultimately leading them to engage in more proactive healthcare routines.
Can you please make sure to include the typical W’s (who, what, where, when, and why). Evidence based practices are always ideal to place when you can. Ideally, it is nice to have two people sign the letter.
