The topic should represent quality improvement problems in the clinical area where you have requested to complete your RN-BSN Capstone project. Note: students will NOT be allowed to have direct patient contact for these projects. Examples would include (but not limited to) topics that involve:
Policies that are unclear and/or outdated and need to be revised
Issues for which there is no current policy and a policy needs to be created and presented to the facility practice committee
Issues for which it has been determined that staff are inadequately trained and need an educational offering and/or refresher
Issues for which training is outdated and staff need an educational offering as a refresher
Issues for which there are adequate and current policies but those policies are not being followed and staff need educational offerings with evidence to support the need for following the policies.

This is a professional paper and should follow all writing, grammar, and APA format rules.
Include a title page, good introductory paragraph with a hook and strong purpose statement, appropriate subheadings, summary or conclusion paragraph, and a reference page.
You are required to submit your paper through SafeAssign – a plagiarism checker – so be certain to properly cite all materials you get from other sources.
Papers should have similarity scores that are 30% or less. Every percentage point match over 30% will equal a one (1) point deduction from the overall grade of the paper. If the paper matches greater than or equal to 50%, it will not be graded and the student must submit a replacement paper on a different subject/topic. Replacement papers will be graded with a maximum value of 80% of the original assignment point value.
In addition to the 20 percent deduction, the replacement paper remains subject to point deductions for matches over 30%.
A zero (0) will be recorded in the grade book for replacement papers not submitted by the deadline set forth by the faculty member.
