Assignment Guidelines and Grading Rubric
Currently within the workplace there are four distinct generations working together. The purpose of this summary is for the student to
explore the cultural climate of their institution related to the following: intergenerational diversity; differing values/belief sets of
defined generations; commonalties between generations; which generation the student feels they most identify with (can be different
than the generation they were born); and ways to enhance communication and collaboration between the generations.
Please see the following guidelines for this assignment below:
PowerPoint Summary (10 points)
• Develop a PowerPoint Presentation (8-10 slides not including Introduction and References slide) that summarizes the following
prompts:
1. Intergenerational diversity
2. Differing values/belief sets of defined generations
3. Commonalities between generations
4. Which generation(s) do you feel you most identify with? (This may be different than the generation you were born in,
or you may find yourself relating to more than one generation).
5. Identify ways to enhance communication and collaboration between the generations.
• PowerPoint should be engaging, well organized, and detailed
• Use at least 3 peer references (1 may be from the course text)
• Use APA 7th edition formatting throughout and be sure to include a reference list slide.
I am a 31 year old female born in 1991. I guess I can be considered a Millennial, which I identify with.
