Interview anyone in the healthcare field that has responibility folr finacial managment and finacial decicions. So, that can be hospitals, a clinic, a big pharamcy, or dental office. Finance is the economic engine for all companies including for-profit and not-for-profit health care facilities, physician practices, and all their vendors. This week will apply finance concepts to the health care industry with content specifically related to capital budgeting within the context of health reform.
Interview a hospital or other healthcare-related CFO/COO/CEO. The CFO/COO/CEO may be from a vendor of healthcare services of products.
If you don’t have access to a CFO/COO/CEO, you may conduct a review of the literature to answer your questions.
