The Frame of Reference Paper will adhere to APA style. This paper should be no less than five (5) pages (not including title page, abstract, and references) in length. The paper should include:
1. Overview of a Theoretical Frame of Reference
A theory selection with a short overview of the type of groupselected to include the population, structure, membership, location, and time and duration.
2. Review of the Theoretical Tools and Techniques
What tools and techniques will be used from the theory selected?Will there be an integration from other theories to enhance the effectiveness of the group?
3. Research Supporting the Theory
Identify and discuss research that supports the theory selection. Does the research support the theory effectiveness of the group?
4. Research Questioning the Theory
Identify and discuss research that does not support the theory selection. Is another theory more effective for the population selected?
5. Rationale for Adherence to the Theory
What is the rationale for this theory selection? How come this theory with this population?
6. Anticipated Problems Applying this Theoretical Frame of Reference in a Group Setting?
What anticipated problems might be encountered with the theory selection? Is this theory designed for individual counseling? Is the theory designed for a special population? How could this theory be adapted for a group setting?
The Paper and Presentation is worth 50 points. The paper is to be submitted on June 14, 2022. The presentation must be a minimum of ten (10) minutes. Visual aids are suggested for the presentation such as PowerPoints, Presentation Designs, Visme, Prezi, Google Slides, etc. Presentations not given will result in a 50% reduction of this assignment.
