Each student will be required to select evidence of existing research pretaining to an area of study of the aging process. The student will make a hypotheis; an assumption about any topic associated with aging and proceed to find out if there is empirical research that confirms the hypothesis before drawing any conclusion. The student’s report will detail the scientific type of experiment, and variables (factors,conditions) involved. The paper should include a brief summary of the existing research and a conclusion with ones own critique about the study. Subject matter for the paper can be selected from sources listed from the textbook (“The Journey of Adulthood”) or from outside sources.
