Public Dissemination Assignment (15 points)
You must choose a topic discussed in class and create method in which you could disseminate that information, in an assessable way, to the public. Mediums can be flexible, such as social media campaigns, video, podcast, plan for a community event, pamphlets, etc. You are not required to disseminate this information, only to create the content or detailed plan.
At times, evidence-based information about abnormal behavior can be difficult to disseminate to the public. This can be due to misinformation or limited access to academic material. This project is designed to encourage you to think about a topic discussed in this course that may be helpful to disseminate to the public and to create an educational tool that would be easily accessible. Mediums can be flexible, such as social media campaigns, video, podcast, children’s book, plan for a community event, etc. Your target population to disseminate this information to may be a specific subgroup of the population or target the general public. Note: You are not required to disseminate this information, only to create the content or detailed plan.
