Organizational Stress
Purpose
of the Assignments:
These assignments are
used to determine if the student is understanding the course material and just
as importantly, if they apply the information in the context of real work
situations. Application of theory to practice is the key element for evaluation.
Process:
Below are
the descriptions of each of the four Interview Process Summaries. Use each description to:
· Prepare interview
questions in advance · Write the process summaries. Formatting:
Papers are in
standard college essay format and must be two pages of content and follow APA
formatting for margins, font, spacing, etc. In text citations must refer to the textbook and other course materials
assigned. The essay must include a reference page with the full name of
interviewee, contact information and the time and place of interview. Grading: Students are
graded on application of course material to the interview and summary. For students to write a successful
summary, reading of the assigned chapters of the textbook and other course
material is necessary. Refer to detailed grading
rubric on separate document under âCourse Rubrics and Assignment Descriptionsâ.
Relationship to
Final Paper:
You will use all
four process summaries to write the final summary and proposed stress reduction
plan in the form of a letter to the Interviewee.
