Now that you’ve had an opportunity to identify and review your scholarly sources, this week, you will synthesize your sources and organize the information into an introduction, body, and conclusion. Your literature review should summarize current research, provide connections across sources, and engage the reader in thinking about future studies. This will be part 1 of your research proposal.
Using a minimum of six original research articles, demonstrate supporting and opposing views of your topic. You may use your articles from Week 1 as long as they are original research. Be sure to check the instructor’s comments on your annotated bibliography to see if your articles are fine and also to check any comments on your APA citation style, if any. Find a video that shows you how to access these comments in the supplemental materials below.
In this assignment, you will review your literature in a topical format. The organization of your paper should be based on theoretical concepts, themes, and findings. Feel free to use the mind map of your articles to guide your writing.
Do not review individual studies each at a time. Instead, try to summarize the key points and draw comparisons between the research you’ve reviewed.
You will cite your sources as you refer to them in your thematic areas. Be sure to use all 6 research articles in your literature review. Review the following resource as an aid in developing your literature review.
