Overview
In Module 1 you were introduced to your Portfolio Project. This module you will begin your literature research and develop an annotated bibliography.
For this project, your literature research requires you to locate primary sources about your topic. In previous courses in the RN-BSN program you have located articles in scholarly journals. Some of these may have been primary sources while others may have been secondary sources. Refer to the information provided in the library research guide (Links to an external site.) about searching in the library databases and for information about primary sources. Keep in mind that the Franklin University Nationwide Library (Links to an external site.) librarians are available to assist you with your research. This additional resource may also help you select primary research articles.
In review, credibility is defined as “the confidence that the researcher and the user of the research can have in the truth of the findings of the study” (Rebar & Gersch, 2015, p. 154), and beneficial is defined by Merriam-Webster dictionary as “useful aid”.Research reports

Action Items
Review the Portfolio Project and the Overview of this assignment.
Begin your literature search. Locate at least 5 primary research reports from scholarly resources, published within the last 5 years, that are relevant to your topic and PICOT question.
Complete a reference overview (table) of research on your topic, including at least 5 scholarly sources. Use the template provided. Each annotation should include:
APA citation for each article
Brief description of the author(s) of the study
Purpose of the study
Complete a reference page, in APA format, for all of the studies you included in your table.
