I need help writing a research protocol abstract in lay term. I have the research protocol with me, I can share it with you.
The research lay abstract has to answer all the below questions or detailed description given below:
Describe clearly and concisely in language that will be understandable to a non-scientific member of the IRB the broad objectives, subject population, types of general procedures, and the potential significance of the research. All acronyms should be spelled out in full the first time they are used. Please note that although both the Scientific and Lay abstracts summarize the same project, the language of the Scientific and Lay abstracts should not be the same because the intended audience is different for each.
The following questions should be addressed in the lay abstract:
Who are the subjects?
What methods will be used to answer the research question?
What will the subjects be asked to do?
What is the potential significance of the project?
