The purpose of this assignment is synthesize current literature to write a scholarly paper that supports an evidence-based intervention for the identified health needs of your target population. The literature review provides initial inquiry into the community health challenges of your chosen target population to identify appropriate interventions and evaluation tools using current, evidence-based research.

. Use the suggested page guidelines and outline on the template to structure your paper. Review your Schoon et al. (2019) text, Chapter 11, p. 228-232 to understand how to develop potential intervention and evaluation plans for a community health issue that you have identified from your windshield survey and target population assessment.
UtilizeLibrary databases to find current and peer-reviewed articles via professional journals.
Please do not use newspapers, blogs, editorials, or irrelevant articles from non-peer reviewed sources. A good rule of thumb is to only include articles from the past 5-10 years.
A good place to start:
-> Databases -> CINAHL or PubMed. You are welcome to use any database you see fit, as long as the articles are timely, relevant, and peer reviewed.

Select at least THREE (3) peer-reviewed journal articles for your literature review. Make sure each reference entry for journal articles include a full DOI (digital object identifier – typically found on the first page below the title or in the header/footer). The DOI makes it easier for the faculty to access the full-text of the article when grading.
Assignment Requirements
Conduct a written literature review scholarly paper by providing a synthesis of the articles and how they are relevant to your target population and identified health concern. This paper is approximately 4-5 pages in length, excluding title page and references. Use the suggested page guidelines and reflection questions on the template.

. Don’t forget to add the complete DOI for each journal reference entry.
Your paper will be submitted through Turnitin.

Open Grades menu in Canvas. A colored speech bubble with a percentage indicator will appear on the right-hand side of the assignment.
Click on the colored speech bubble to view the details of the originality report.
