Write a scholarly paper on the topic of role, practice, and performance outcome evaluation of the advanced leadership role pertained to your APN specialization.
Objectives:
1. Describe the scope of practice of APN role. 2. Identify relevant practice issue/problems existing in APN work setting.
3. Demonstrate problem resolution and opportunities for professional growth both for the role and within the role.
Instructions:
1. Select an issue relevant to the practice and role of your APN specialization. 2. Analyze the issue in respects to it effects on the APN role, health care system, and patient health outcomes, including significant of this issue in future development of APN.
3. Discuss at least two provisions in The Code of Ethics for Nurses with Interpretive Statements that would relate to this issue/problem.
4. Propose an intervention to address the problem, including outcome indicators to measure success of the interventions and steps one can do to enhance future APN growth.
5. Write a paper with your findings. Paper will be 8-10 pages long – not including cover and reference pages – and in APA format.
