Given what you’ve learned about memory, what do you think about Elizabeth Loftus’ past/memory of it?
-Some in the field have used this as evidence of repression? Do you agree? Why or why not?
-Work by Elizabeth Loftus has also caused issues with the “Me too” movement. When can we trust memory and when can we not? What’s the best path forward. I understand that this is a delicate issue, but it’s a real issue and where we land in our understanding of it as a society will have real world consequences.
