ARRA Privacy Provisions

For this assignment, imagine you have been asked by your supervisor to prepare a presentation for your co-workers to explain your organization’s Promoting Interoperability Program (meaningful use). The presentation should give an overview of what Interoperability Programs (IP) are and why they are important. You may see the terms MU and IP used interchangeably, but in 2018 CMS renamed MU to Interoperability Programs (IP).
Give examples of what your organization must do to demonstrate program requirements and what the consequences are if they fail to do so. Include content on all proposed stages.
Identify your target population (nurse practitioners) and describe what their role might be (how does this affect them?) Include what MACRA is. Also, tell your audience what MIPS and APM’s are and why they are important.

Please refer to the rubric provided in the course syllabus for detailed information on how your assignment will be scored. Just a few reminders:
Please use slide speaker notes. This may include up to 3 charts or tables maximum. The entire presentation should be more than 14 slides but not over 20 slides.
Slides should be in a minimum of 16 pt font with no more than 5-6 points/ideas per page
You must use at least 4 quality references. Include a reference slide at the end of the presentation. References should be in APA 7thed format.
