Psychology 1A
Assignment: Students will work individually on a project of your choice relating to some aspect of Psychology. Projects can involve creating a poster, a PowerPoint, video, or similar project of your design. Choose a real-life psychology topic that you are passionate about and create a 10-15 minute presentation ( you will not actually present since we are meeting virtually).
Each student will write a 5-10 page Reflection Paper/ research paper on the area you researched, reflecting on what you learned about your research topic and what stood out to you, what it was like to work on this project during COVID19 and take this class with everything that has been going on in the world. Be sure to note your goal, and why this is an important topic. As part of your paper, list references (at least 5) relating to your project.
Papers need to be in APA format.
This paper will include:
The goal of your project.
Why is this topic important?
Who is the target audience?
Describe your project and share what you learned
Give relevant references for more information on your topic.
Your grade will be based on:
Individual paper 30 points
Reflection (10 pts)
Goal, What you learned (10 pts)
References (5 pts)
Requirements: length, on time, grammar (5 pts)
