Explain which aspects of a study is problematic and how these limitations could be addressed in future work.

Reviews should include the following:
Purpose: Provide a one-paragraph summary of the purpose of the article/study.
Methods and Results: Describe what the authors did and what they found. Be sure to describe the experimental design and specifically identify the independent and dependent measures. A description of the methods and results should be 1 paragraph.
Strengths: Discuss the strengths of the study. Please provide a rationale for the strengths you identify. That is, why it is a strength or why is it good that they did the study in that way? What are the implications of the study with respect to functional assessment and/or intervention development? The strengths sections should be one paragraph.
Limitations: Discuss any potential limitations of the study. When discussing limitations,
explain which aspects of a study is problematic and how these limitations could be addressed in future work. Note: Small sample size is NOT a sufficient limitation. Because most behavioral studies use a single-subject design, the sample sizes will be small (<10). Attempt to identify different limitations (e.g., procedures, whether or not they had control of the dependent variable). The limitations sections should be one paragraph. Implications and future directions: This section should focus on placing the results of the study you reviewed in the larger context of related research. How do the results extend prior research? If the results disagree or fail to replicate previous work, suggest a research study that might resolve the discrepancy.
