Read the attached two chapters and write a 2-3 page paper reflecting on what you read.
Before you start writing the paper take a moment to consider what you read – how did it make you feel? Did any strong emotions arise while you were reading the chapter? Just jot down your thoughts before you proceed with the assignment.

1. How much do you feel that you know about global women’s issues? Have you had any courses specifically addressing the plight of women around the world? How does what your read in Half the Sky reflect what you have learned elsewhere?
2. What specific strategies can the nursing profession undertake to help improve the plight of women locally, regionally and globally? Please be sure to do your reflective writing assignment using the grading rubric available in the class syllabus.

This book discusses in detail various issues women face on a daily basis around the globe. Read the two chapters. Find an article from a peer-review journal which further discusses issues in women’s health. Write a 2-3 page paper consisting of three parts.
