I need 2(100)word responses to the following discussion posts
DP#1:The Federal Government’s oversight of healthcare issues for the United States sets the framework for the individual State Governments to use for implementing policies that work best for each state’s unique needs (State Health Policy Decisions: What Does Federalism Have to Do with It?, 2021). An example I am familiar with would be the Long-Term Care regulations for the State of Indiana. The State regulations mirror the Federal OBRA regulations and in most cases even provide more critical details. Each State can choose to create more extensive or details requirements than the basic Federal standards. This allows the individual States to clarify the regulatory requirements and provide more detail to those to which they apply. This is done in Indiana where the specific criteria for nurses’ aide training and certification are far more detailed than that of the Federal guidelines. I am familiar with this since I have been required to be proficient in the State and Federal Long-Term Care regulations during my 22-year career as a medical-legal consultant. I don’t even have to look at the regulations anymore unless there has been a change.
