For which of your services/activities do you think you would need to find funding? Using the Internet, identify a potential funder that might have interest in providing funding for your organization. Locate their web page for potential grantees and see what information you can find regarding their funding process. Is their funding cycle annual, biannual, or rolling? What grant amounts do they provide? Do they provide any guidance (such as a template or personnel guidance) for grant writers? What does the application process look like? Do organizations have to submit a letter of intent before applying? Do they provide information on current grantees? If so, provide a brief summary of one of the projects they have recently funded.
