This week, we explored basic concepts and patterns in gender development. We have also looked at the basic theories which offer explanations of patterns in the development.
For this assignment, you will create content suitable for a blog where you explore different stages of gender development in relation to two major theories: the social learning theory and the cognitive developmental theory. This is not a compare-and-contrast assignment; rather, you should create an engaging narrative aimed at educating wide population of readers, so use easy to understand language while making sure that any facts and definitions are covered by sound science.
Your blog content can include pictures, graphs, images even link to videos if you feel appropriate.
Alternative Assignment: This week, you may choose to not write content for a blog but rather choose to Skype call your professor and discuss what you would include in the blog. For this option, you need to inform your professor and arrange the Skype meeting ahead of time this week.
