Mental health is a part of everyday life. Whether we experience acute or chronic issues ourselves, with our
family or friends, or in our communities. This assignment is for you to find an instance where
mental health is implicated and write a 2-page reaction paper. Guidelines for Reaction Papers will be
placed on BrightSpace. This assignment calls for you to be creative but scientific. Use your imagination but
also use science. Think Kanye, think Politics, think policy, think big or small… You have to be able to
verify your events.. so no making up or falsifying information…
The reaction paper should cover the following:
– The potential or known source/etiology of the mental health issue
– What impact does the mental health issue have on an individual or larger society?
– What issues are you identifying that make this mental health issue something to be addressed?
– Why is this issue relevant?
-What is your view of the issue?
