After reading the assigned chapters, please post two discussion questions based on the readings along with your answers to the following questions:
Did any of the theories or theorist influence your own personal theory of nursing; and consequently, your own view of professional nursing theory? Why or why not?
Did anything of the content in the chapters you have read surprise you? What?
Do not summarize the chapters. Provide your thoughts and discussion questions that makes your classmates think.

Select one of the theories described in Unit 2 (Chapters 6-12) and apply it to the developing comprehensive patterns of nursing care for young teenagers who are becoming first hand mothers.
Consider all the issues they encounter as they prepare for the birth of their babies.
