One of the course objectives is to learn about different contributors to child development and its variation. I would like for you to prepare 1) a 15 minute presentation on a topic of your choosing. You may work with one other student and 2) your own written reflection on why this topic matters to you personally or professionally. For the presentation (50 points), you will talk about: 25 points-The background and significance of the chosen topic on a common issue in child development, including 1) how common this issue is in children, 2) what does this issue look like in children (behaviorally, physically, etc.), 3) what does research say about this topic (cite 1-2 papers) in terms of the etiology of this issue (biological and/or psychosocial contributions)
25 points: common support for children experiencing the issue, including for the child, parents, and/or teachers.
