All assignments MUST be typed, double-spaced, in APA style, and must be written at graduate level English.
Individuals with eating disorders often present with another co-occurring psychiatric disorder. Your final paper must include:
1. Current, evidence-based research on the comorbidity of a DSM-5 eating disorder and another DSM-5 disorder .
2. Research on the significance of neurobiology, genetic, sociocultural, familial, environmental and other relevant factors.
3. Evidence-based treatment from different theories and modalities. Address how these modalities would address both or one of the co-occurring disorders.
You are required to use a minimum of eight (8) current (less than 5 years old), evidence-based research articles taken from hard copy or online scholarly, peer reviewed journals.
Your writing must present your understanding and synthesis of the research, citing your sources in APA format.
