In Week 3 you submitted a plan for a health presentation (PLAN IS ATTATCHED) This week you will create a 15- to 20-minute video presentation based on that plan. The goal of your video presentation is to persuade an intended audience to change a health behavior. The Final Project gives you an opportunity to
demonstrate your mastery of health communication theory and principles, and your knowledge of a
selected health topic and audience.
You will also submit a single Word document that has a brief summary of your presentation (i.e., title, topic, behavioral goals) and a written transcript. The written transcript should be written according to the instructions provided in the Kaltura Media Uploader page located in the course navigation area.
To prepare for this Project:
Review the planning template submitted in Week 3.
Utilize Instructor feedback to refine aspects of your presentation.
Review the grading guide for Part II of the Final Project.

Final Project Part II:
Create a 15- to 20-minute health presentation video that includes the following components:
Opening: (2 – 3 minutes)
Come up with a title that gives the intended audience an idea of what your presentation is about.
Grab the attention of your audience with an “attention-getting statement ” or story about your health topic. You want your audience to care about the topic.
Presentation Objectives: (1– 1 ½ minutes)
Your objectives should be SMART (specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-based). Review information from Week 3, if needed.
Content: (8– 12 minutes)
Begin with something your audience can relate to with regard to the topic (e.g., something in the media or a personal story).
Choose 4 to 5 major talking points (e.g., benefits of wellness, risks of continuing current behaviors, strategies for behavior change, measures of success, etc.).
Use relevant examples throughout your presentation.
Try to present your content in the same order as your objectives.
Use only credible sources.
Closing: (2– 3 minutes)
Summarize your major points.
Provide your audience with encouragement and resources to help them to take some behavioral action (remember your behavioral goals in Part I).

You will also submit a single ONE PAGE Word document that has a brief summary of your presentation (i.e., title, topic, behavioral goals) and a written transcript.
