1. Discuss the role context plays in memory. In your discussion, address the emotional content of the material, number and nature of retrieval cues, the role of context, the role of physical and mental state, and recognition versus recall. How does stress effect our ability to remember information? What information can you take from this when studying for final exams?
2. Schools often use concrete rewards to increase adaptive behaviors. How might this be a disadvantage for students intrinsically motivated to learn?
