Review how RESEARCH on PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT IN EARLY CHILDHOOD relates to the 3 following major themes:
1. Nature vs Nurture
2. Continuity vs. Discontinuity
5. Individual differences
Describe how research in the area of physical development in early childhood exemplifies each theme. For example, if you chose the development of personality/temperament, you would describe how the research relates to the Nature/Nurture theme by describing studies showing that some traits like aggression can be inherited from your parents (and so on for each of the 3 themes above).
This is not intended to be a research paper. In theory, you could write this paper only having read the textbook and attending class, however, you can include any outside material that interests you and adds to your argument.
