Assessment Description
The purpose of this assignment is to begin working on a strategic plan for an informatics innovation.
There are multiple criteria to the overall assignment. The first three criteria will be completed in this topic. The additional two criteria will be added in Topic 7 to create one comprehensive strategic plan.
An overview of the first three criteria for the strategic plan will be completed in DQ 1 and peer reviewed by a peer. Use the peer review and feedback from your instructor to refine your strategic plan for final submission in Topic 7. To begin the strategic plan, complete the criteria below:
Criterion 1: Create a team with appropriate team members that is based on your strategic informatics initiative.
Criterion 2: Evaluate leadership qualities that will be required to successfully implement your informatics innovation in a health care organization.
Criterion 3: Identify methods that diffuse potential issues deemed detrimental to the strategic plan.
While APA style is not required for the body of this assignment, solid academic writing is expected, and documentation of sources should be presented using APA formatting guidelines, which can be found in the APA Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center.
