These assignments will give you the opportunity to integrate
your own experience with class information. Please put information from the notes
and the textbook in your own words (try not to quote word for word), and then
cite these two sources in the text of your paper. Cite the textbook as (Belsky,
2016, p. XX) and class notes as (Guler, class notes, PSY203, Spring 2022,
DATE). You must cite either class notes or the textbook for each concept that
you reference. No additional sources are required, aside from class notes and
the book. A reference page is unnecessary if you are only citing class notes
and the book. However, if you choose to use additional sources (e.g., scholarly
journal articles), you must cite them in-text and provide a reference section
in your paper.
Meaningful and Fulfilling Adult Life
1. Reflect on the
question “What is a meaningful and fulfilling adult life?”
2. Find two adults
who are in middle adulthood (in their 40s & 50s) and ask them their
personal definition of a meaningful and fulfilling life. Has their definition
changed over time? Record their age and gender.
3. Write a paper
integrating your own thoughts, what you have learned from you interviews, and
what you have read in the textbook. Use at least three course concepts
(underline or bold the concept in your paper).
