influences our justice system. There is no wrong answer in this
discussion, if you provide evidence to support your statement. This

The criteria are as
follows:
1. The posts must combine to be 600 words or longer (points will be removed
from your final grade equal to the percentage that you are short i.e. 300 words
makes for a max grade of 50%)
2. The paper must
follow these guidelines:
a. Paragraph 1: What was your opinion of eyewitness testimony before
watching the video? Did you ever question the accuracy of witness
evidence?
b. Paragraph 2-5 (must be at least 75% of the paper length): Cite
scientific evidence about the accuracy of eye witness testimony. Are
those who witness a testimony likely to embellish the events that took
place? How does the Loftus study on false memories relate to witness
testimony? (You can write more paragraphs). What other researchers have
studied false memories and what did they find (I expect 2 citations from two
authors other than Loftus).
c. Paragraph 6: How has the review of witness testimony
strengthened or changed your opinion about the justice system and the use of
witness testimony? Do you think that your memories are also influenced,
as presented by Loftus? Conclude your paragraph.
