this is a group project and my part is “Identification of Risk Factors and/or Benefit”. I attached rubric and instructions for my portion. Also, here’s a few concepts to write on. Identification of Risk Factors and/or Benefits: Risk for Shaken baby syndrome (SBS): 1. postpartum depression and tiredness 2. Excessive crying babies and babies having difficulty sleeping are usually less than one
year of age.
3. Unstable stressful family situations, such as, single parent, young parent, alcohol abuse,
domestic violence, and mental health issues. 4. Infants with disabilities or health issues are at risk. 5. SBS babies will have the risk of having neurological complications. 6. Creating awareness about SBS triggers can help people understand the danger and
possibly decrease the chances of this happening to infants.
