Nurse burnout can decrease work environment effectiveness. In what ways does stress manifest itself in your behavior and how does it affect your patient care? What are some stress management strategies you have tried (name and give examples of three). Which were successful or unsuccessful? Explain.
Discuss the importance of creating a collaborative culture to eliminate disruptive behavior, include at least three detailed examples.
Not all patient/family encounters will go smoothly, discuss the importance of conflict management. Include the importance of understanding your own personal response to conflict and (at least two) ways to apply techniques to diffuse patient/family/nurse conflict.
