Write an essay of 2200 words and address each of the required
prompts in Steps 1 and 2. Be sure to completely answer all requirements in each
prompt. Separate each section in your paper with a clear heading that allows
your instructor to know which bullet you are addressing in that section of your
paper. Make sure to reference five (5) citations using the APA writing style
for each one. Include a cover page and a reference page, which does not count
towards the minimal word amount.
Step 1: Needs Assessment
Create a needs assessment that you would use to
collect feedback from other professionals regarding topics
where they feel
ethics is best utilized and needed. This can be in the form a questionnaire,
personal interviews,
telephone survey, or an email survey that will be
presented to other professionals. You can accomplish step 1 in
writing or with
any online free survey sites.
You
must include at least 10 questions directly related to ethics in
psychology and specific to either
education, psychology, or organizational
development.
Questions
should reflect the research/text readings related to the topic of ethics
throughout this course.
Step 2: Plan of Action
Create a Strategic Plan of Action regarding how
to implement the information gathered with the needs
assessment in the
workplace as a training.
In
your plan, include your role in the implementation of the development of
ethical behavior in the workplace.
Describe
specific topics for this implementation and detailed explanation(s)
regarding the rationale and need for ethical behavior in the workplace.
Set
a timeline for the implementation of the development of ethical behavior
in the workplace:
Define
the type of training.
Annotate
the number of sessions that are needed.
Determine
the duration of the training.
Include
refresher training.
How
often will it be
needed?
Explain
retraining and/or refresher training (for example: PowerPoint presentations
that focuses on one special element of ethics, a video that focuses on
newly updated information, lecture training
that focuses on current or
new research, etc.).
How
will the training positively impact leadership and personnel?
Explain
how the delivery methods support what you have learned about ethics in
psychology.
How
will you assess the overall success of your training?
Include
the use of a survey and ensure it is a part of your overall plan of
action.
