choose a movie that can be analyzed according to one of the topics discussed in the textbook (if
you are having a hard time coming up with a movie, the following are great options: Hidden
Figures, Coco, Far & Away, Slum Dog Millionaire, Dances with Wolves, Life of Pi, Bend it
Like Beckham, My Big Fat Greek Wedding, and Witness).
Title page in APA style should be the first page of your paper.
• Text Length – at least 4 pages but NO MORE than 6 pages, double-spaced (length does
NOT include title page).
• Use one or more paragraphs to describe each scene/character/topic as dictated below.
• Consult the textbook or lecture notes for a theoretical explanation for the
activities/scene about which you are writing.
• Remember to use good grammar! No comma splices or fragments. No misspelled
words. Watch pronoun references. Reread for wordiness and awkward spots. Have
someone else read it.
• APA references for your textbook, any external sources, and the movie used for the
assignment should be the last page of your paper done correctly using APA style.
