Study Review Paper
This assignment will expose you directly to one piece of empirical Psychological research.
You will read one of the articles. In this paper, first, summarize the
article in your own words (no more than 1 page summary) – keep in mind the parts of an empirical article covered in class. Why was this study done? What research methods were used?
What was the hypothesis? What were the results? Next, critique the methodology of the study (no more than 1 page) – discuss both the positive aspects as well as the
limitations. Finally, try to – in some fashion – extend the conclusions of the study (2 pages). What did you learn? Are there
some additional insights that you had as you read the article, its data and findings?
