Need help With this Or a Simmilar Assignment

We will write a custom essay on your topic tailored to your instructions!

Your final assignment, which counts as your final exam and is worth 15% of your grade, will tie together much of what we learned this semester. Create a two-part social media awareness campaign, which includes a visual asset posted to a platform of your choice, as well as a Twitter Moment that encapsulates the main points of your campaign. Please read this document carefully and be mindful of the minimum requirements for each part of the assignment.
You will choose the topic of your campaign. Background
For example, I can create an awareness campaign focused on Covid vaccinations and call it #vaxfacts. The campaign could answer the following questions: What sites or apps people can use to make a vaccine appointment Where to find answers to frequently asked questions about Covid vaccines
How to spot misinformation and disinformation about vaccines
What you can and should not do after you’re vaccinated
There are plenty of issues to choose from, on a variety of topics. More examples include: voter rights, climate change, financial aid, eating healthy, or mental health.
Of course, your topic can be something lighter, like learning how to play the guitar, how to save money, or how to shop for goods that are sustainably sourced.
Whatever you choose, please make sure your topic is professional and ethical.
VISUAL ASSET
Once you have an idea for your campaign, you will create a hashtag and a visual asset on a social media platform of your choice, such as:
YouTube
Instagram
TikTok
Medium, Tumblr or WordPress
Facebook
Twitter
LinkedIn
To give you an idea of what your visual asset could look like, here are visual assets submitted by some of my former students:
#GetYourGutRight

#LetsTalkAboutMentalHealth

#FactsNotFear https://www.facebook.com/maddy.amato/posts/3147110288708226 If you choose to create a multimedia (video) asset, keep in mind these maximum lengths. Your video should be the maximum length that the platform allows.
A YouTube video with graphics, images and music (90 seconds) Twitter video clip (140 seconds) If you choose to create a gallery of images with text overlay, you should include at least 5 images.
TWITTER MOMENT
Once you create your visual asset, you’ll create a Twitter Moment on the Twitter account you’re using for class (i.e. the account you create the Moment in should be the same one that’s on our class list). To make a Twitter Moment, follow the instructions here. https://help.twitter.com/en/using-twitter/how-to-create-a-twitter-moment
There are plenty of tutorials on YouTube on how to create a Twitter Moment. Here’s one (you can skip ahead to about the two-minute mark to see the tutorial.)
Your Moment should include at least 5 tweets, including one tweet that contains your visual asset. If your visual asset is a video, please feel free to upload that video directly to the tweet as opposed to linking to it. Your Moment should be a mix of your own tweets (don’t forget to use your hashtag!) highlighting the main points of your campaign, plus tweets from others, like experts, journalists, brands, etc. You can find these tweets by doing keyword searches, or looking up tweets from any of the sources you’re planning to cite in your campaign. But be sure that whatever you include in your Moment does not contain misinformation.
For example, here is a moment on the @nytimes’s Twitter account, which includes images, videos and links. https://twitter.com/i/events/1027698640842674176

PROJECT MEMO
Your Project Memo will be your main deliverable. It will be due in the Social Media Campaign Dropbox by Friday, May 13, at 11:59 p.m. Late assignments will not be accepted.
Please include the following in your Project Memo, which can be submitted as a Word Doc or PDF:
The name of your campaign Who worked on it (if you worked with another student)
The unique hashtag that you’re using for your campaign A 250-word summary of your campaign and why you think the topic is timely and relevant
Additionally, you’ll also need to answer, in a couple paragraphs (3-5 sentences) each:
Who is your intended audience? What social media platforms would you use to spread awareness about your campaign, and what kind of content would you plan to create going forward?
Be sure to source all your statistics and or include source credits. ****WILL PROVIDE LOGIN FOR SCHOOL TWITTER ACCOUNT.****
