Your task this week is to locate at least 10 new scholarly resources that address research related to just one of the topics that you have narrowed down from Week 1. To make the most of your ongoing literature search, please do not choose the first 10 articles that you find related to your topic. Read and critically evaluate the articles to determine if they are relevant to your specific area of interest. Consider how each new article relates to the previous articles that you have read and whether a theoretical framework is used. Choose articles that are relevant to your specific area of interest within the topic, articles that use a theoretical framework relevant to your specific area of interest, and articles that – together – tell a story about what research shows about your specific area within the topic.
For example, you may be interested in how leadership styles are related to employee turn-over. Be sure you identify articles that investigate your specific constructs of interest, or closely related constructs. A study investigating leadership and job satisfaction could be relevant, but a study on employer satisfaction with employee turn-over rates may not be. An article that does not investigate employee turn-over, but discusses theory about leadership could be very relevant.
Please note the same rules for citation applied to other documents (such as proper paraphrasing and the use of quotation marks where necessary) apply to Annotated Bibliographies as well. It is not acceptable to cut and paste from the abstract or the body of an article. Rather, you are expected to read the article completely and appropriately paraphrase the necessary material. For those few situations where paraphrasing is not acceptable, then material that has not been paraphrased must be placed in quotation marks. Length: 250-300 words for each annotated bibliography entry; at least 10 research articles
References: Include a minimum of 10 scholarly research articles.
Your annotated bibliography should demonstrate thoughtful consideration of the ideas and concepts presented in the course by providing new thoughts and insights relating directly to this topic. Your response should reflect scholarly writing and current APA standards.
